Dr. Anna Kolstad

Dr. Anna Kolstad was born in Central Illinois and raised in Southeast Wisconsin. As a high school student, Dr. Anna Kolstad became interested in dentistry and worked in a dental practice. This experience helped her choose dentistry as a career path and she continued her education earning her Bachelor’s degree and Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Marquette.

Dr. Anna Kolstad practiced dentistry in a variety of private practice settings before being introduced to Dr. Tark Barsamian. After meeting Dr. Tark Barsamian, they instantly bonded over their mutual respect for patients and involving them in treatment decisions. Dr. Anna Kolstad understands dental needs are unique and she takes extra time to get to know her patient’s on a personal level. She works with her patients to achieve and maintain a healthy mouth for life.

In her free time Dr. Anna Kolstad enjoys cooking, gardening, reading and travel. She stays active in her profession and has served on the Marquette Dental School Admission Committee. She is a member of the American Dental Association, Wisconsin Dental Association and Waukesha County Dental Society.

She is married to her dental school classmate Dr. James Kolstad. Together they have two young children that keep them very busy when not fixing teeth.

Dr. Tark Barsamian DDS

Dr. Tark Barsamian has been delivering trustworthy, comprehensive and compassionate care to the Waukesha County for over two decades. He graduated from Marquette University School of Dentistry and opened his practice here in Waukesha shortly after. As one of the most sought after general, cosmetic and implant dentists in the area, Dr. Tark Barsamian and his compassionate team proudly provide a comfortable atmosphere and high-quality care to patients of all ages.

With an emphasis on the patient's needs and concerns, Dr. Tark Barsamian is able to offer many procedures and treatment options for your dental care. Outside of the office, Dr. Tark Barsamian enjoys restoring vintage cars and home improvement projects.

Dr. Cassandra Van Kleunen

Dr. Cassandra Van Kleunen graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Madison with a BS in Biology and a Certificate in Global Health. She became board-certified and received her DDS from Marquette University. She has spent many years treating patients in both the Madison and Milwaukee areas.


Dr. Van Kleunen is committed to treatment that maximizes comfort and trust. Her favorite part of dentistry is getting to meet and learn from a wide variety of people. The trusting relationships she forms with patients allow her to deeply understand their goals. This, paired with the easy-to-understand dental education she provides, helps Dr. Van Kleunen partner with her patients to make the best treatment decisions together.


When not in the office, she loves hiking, reading (she is in two book clubs!), and trying new restaurants. She loves to cook for herself and is always looking for new recipes! Dr Van Kleunen and her husband welcomed a baby girl to the family in December 2025! 


Dr. Van Kleunen is a member of the American Dental Association, the Wisconsin Dental Association, and the Greater Milwaukee Dental Association.
